With the ongoing legal issues with Qualcomm, and already axed Exynos 8890-powered handset, Meizu has now confirmed that the upcoming Pro 6s will use MediaTek’s chipset. Some rumours were suggesting Helio P20 SoC, but it looks like Meizu has different plans.
While the Chinese company’s VP Li Nan didn’t exactly confirm which MediaTek SoC will be in the handset, he did say that the Helio X25 chipset that powers the Meizu Pro 6 is sufficient for everyday tasks, which is sufficient confirmation if you ask us. Another possible confirmation is the phone’s design, which is the same as its successor, suggesting that there might not be big changes.
