Though Meizu held a conference on November 30 and announced two new devices along with fresher Flyme OS 6, this wasn’t the main event before 2016 is over. As we know, Meizu will come in with another conference on December 6, where it will unveil its new smart band dubbed as the Meizu Blue Charm Bracelet along with the Meizu M5 Note, a much anticipated smartphone that is going to beat all its rival in terms of price as well as design.
Today Meizu CEO Bai Yongxiang talked about the Meizu M5 Note and said company’s Blue Charm series is so popular due to big screens smartphones come with. But they also are affordable, so the manufacturer should keep the balance between the screen size and pricing. The MediaTek helio P10 is still the best choice for this purpose.
This statement simply means the Meizu M5 Note will be world class quality and design handset with a big-size screen but it will be packed with MediaTek’s octa-core processor. Though we have been presented the high-end Meizu Pro 6 Plus a few days back, the Meizu CEO left a sentence as there is still the Meizu M5 Note, which can mean this phone is going to be a beast in terms of design. I mean the M5 Note appearance should be the selling point of the phone.
However, we have some info on the features as well. The Meizu M5 Note is said to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, Helio P10 MT6755M processor, three variants of memory including 2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB, and 4GB/64GB, and 4000mAh battery.
At last, the Meizu M5 Note is said to come in two versions – metal and polycarbonate housing. The latter will cost 999 yuan ($145), while the metal variant will be available for 1099 yuan ($160).
