Mass Effect: Andromeda’s trial is available early on EA Access

Mass Effect: Andromeda’s 10-hour trial is now available on EA Access. EA said that the trial would begin on March 16 but it’s available a day early. This is probably due to the fact that the trial went live for gamers in Australia when the clock struck that particular hour, triggering it in other regions. Mass Effect: Andromeda’s trial offers unlimited access to the multiplayer mode but limits single-player progression to a few missions.

Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place around 600 years after the events of Mass Effect 2. Humanity launched the Andromeda Initiative in response to the Reaper threat which may have eliminated all sentient life in the Milky Way galaxy. The journey to the Andromeda galaxy takes hundreds of years where you’re awoken from cryogenic sleep and thrust into a new adventure. Sounds like another famous super solider doesn’t it?

In Andromeda you must find a new home for humanity where you take command as the Pathfinder. The Pathfinder is the leader of a squad of military-trained explorers who must ensure humanity’s survival among the uncharted starts. Mass Effect: Andromeda is the story of humanity’s next chapter, and your choices determine our survival. Without giving too much away, mysterious alien vaults are at the center of it all.

Mass Effect: Andromeda starts at $60 on Xbox One and supports HDR on Xbox One S. HDR offers enhanced visuals with richer and more luminous colors but requires a 4K HDR display. The game launches on March 21 in North America and March 23 in Europe.
