A few weeks ago, at the Pixel 2 event, Google launched a ‘Made for Google’ certification program for third-party accessories, which recommends things you might want to use with your smartphone. After Apple and Google, it looks like another company is working on similar program.
Huawei is making sure it has done everything to take the number 1 smartphone maker spot and is reportedly working on a Made for Huawei program for certified accessories. Those accessory makers that pass the certification will get a Made for Huawei badge on their boxes. The first product will be a USB Type-C to HDMI adapter for the Mate 10 series. There is no word on when the program will launch.
