A lot of things has been said about the upcoming Apple’s smartphone, but we finally have photos of the phone. The leaked images claim to show the finished design of Apple’s iPhone 8, one of the three new iPhone models that are expected to be unveiled this September.
The images show a dummy of the iPhone 8 that has a vertically-positioned dual camera setup on the back in the upper left corner, an edge-to-edge screen with 2.5D glass curved at the edges. The images don’t reveal whether the phone uses OLED instead of LCD, but various reports have suggested that Apple will definitely go with OLED panels. There are also some rumours that Apple is having problems implementing Touch ID under the screen, but the images don’t show any physical home button suggesting the issues might been fixed.
The chassis is reportedly made out of stainless steel, with the volume rocker on the left and power button on the right. The bottom of the phone has a Lightning port and twin speaker grills, with no sign a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Hopefully all the glitches Apple is reportedly having with the phone will be resolved soon so the phone launches on time.
