Lian Li up to date its DK-05 and DK-04 desk-type PC circumstances as the brand new DK-05F and DK-04F. The two include electrochromic glass tops. With functions in workplace cubicles (privateness glass), vehicles (auto-dimming rear-view mirrors), and passenger plane just like the Boeing 787, electrochromic glass lets you alter transparency and readability. On Lian Li’s DK-series desk-type circumstances, these allow you to alter the opacity of the glass high, or its “blurriness.” The body of the glass high may be studded with ARGB strips so the glass high acts like a translucent diffuser. The case’s front-panel now comes with a devoted compound button to configure the glass.
Another design change with the DK-05F and DK-04F is a brand new removable motherboard tray design. The tray now separates from the remainder of the internal chassis, such that it solely holds the motherboard’s rear I/O protect and growth slots (you do not find yourself pulling out the PSU together with it, like on the unique DK-05/04). The remainder of the feature-sets of the 2 are equivalent to their authentic counterparts. The DK-05F is designed for dual-system builds, with two unbiased ATX-size methods inside; whereas the DK-04F is designed for single-system builds. The firm did not reveal pricing.
