After revealing the complete spec-sheet of the Samsung Galaxy S8 yesterday, trusted leakster Evan Blass has published the first images of the LG Watch Style smartwatch. The LG Watch Style is expected to be debuted next month at an event on February 9th, before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 kick off in Barcelona. The LG Watch Style, along with the LG Watch Sport, will be among the first smartwatches to be announced with the new Android Wear 2.0 version.

The LG Watch Style is rumored to feature a 1.2-inch P-OLED display with 360 x 360 resolution, 512MB RAM, 4GB of flash storage, and a 240mAh capacity battery. The Android Wear 2.0 smartwatch will be water resistant as well, with an IP67 certification.

The LG Watch Sport on the other hand will feature a slightly larger 1.38-inch 480 x 480 P-OLED display, 768MB RAM, 4GB of flash storage, and a bigger 430mAh capacity battery. On the connectivity front, the smartwatch will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, as well as 4G LTE support, allowing users to use it for Android Pay payments as well. It will also come with an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, as well as a heart rate sensor. The LG Watch Sport will be thicker however, measuring at 14.2mm as opposed to the LG Watch Style’s 10.8mm profile.

Both the wearables are expected to go on sale in the US starting February 10th, just a day after their official unveiling.
