LG V30 is set to arrive later this month, but the South Korean company decided to share some camera-related details ahead of the announcement. The company claims that the V30 “will include the world’s largest aperture and clearest lens ever to be featured in a smartphone.”
The main camera module will pack an F/1.6 lens, which delivers 25% more light to the sensor compared to an F/1.8 lens. The same sensor also has 30% lower edge distortion compared to the V20’s and is 30% smaller in size compared to its predecessor.
The company also confirmed that the rear camera module will have glass Crystal Clear Lens, which greater light-collecting ability than a plastic lens as well as better color reproduction.
