To keep up with the competition, LG has been working on its own mobile payment system since last year. Unlike other mobile payment systems, the LG Pay has a smart card that stores info for multiple credit and debit cards, and connects to your phone over NFC.
According to new rumours, LG has postponed its mobile payment service to next year. The company wanted to unveil the service alongside the LG V20, but there have been some problems with the development of the White Card. Another problem is that LG has yet to file for regulatory approval, which definitely postpones the service until next year.
