LG’s latest 5K UltraFine displays that Apple recommends for use with the new MacBook Pro was expected to start shipping in early December, but LG has confirmed that the displays have been delayed. The company didn’t say anything about the delay, so we don’t know the exact reason why they aren’t ready.
If you can’t wait, then go with the smaller LG 4K displays, which have already begun shipping out to customers. Apple has listed the displays online, but the Cupertino company has yet to open pre-orders. There is also a big chance that the displays won’t be available this year.
