LG isn’t going to use Amazon Alexa on the G6 like some reports claimed, says CNET, but it will come with Google Assistant. The company reportedly planned to use Alexa on the device, but its integration with the handset wasn’t ready for a public release.
It’s expected other LG phones will include Amazon’s digital assistant, which is already on some LG products, this year.
An earlier report said both assistants would be available on the device, giving users multiple options. Google will likely be pleased if Assistant doesn’t have any competition on the G6.
