The first commercial Tango smartphone, Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is now available for purchase in Europe. After making its debut in the United States last month, Lenovo has decided to open up sales for its rather unusual smartphone in some European countries.
For the time being, the Phab 2 Pro is up for grabs on Lenovo’s online stores in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands. Customers who want to buy the Phab 2 Pro will have to come up with €499.
It’s also worth mentioning that the smartphone is only available in Champagne Gold (Gunmetal Grey coming soon) and it doesn’t ship in other countries aside from the once mentioned above. So, if you reside in the UK, you can order the smartphone from any of Lenovo’s online stores from other countries.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is definitely not for everyone. The smartphone boasts a huge 6.4-inch display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.
Under the hood, the Phab 2 Pro packs an 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor (Tango edition), complemented by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Tango-enabled Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is equipped with no less than four camera that work in conjunction with Tango and specially-developed software to enable state of the art smartphone AR experiences.
Furthermore, the rear cameras consist of a 16-megapixel RGB camera, depth camera, and fisheye camera for ultra-wide angle panoramics. There’s also another 8-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls.
The smartphone ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow right out of the box, it features a Type-C USB port and it’s powered by a large 4,050 mAh battery.
