We already know that Fujitsu wants to sell its PC business. There were already talks that Fujitsu, VAIO and Toshiba could merge into one large PC company, but it looks like that is not going to happen. Instead, there looks to be another company that is interested in Fujitsu.
According to a report from nikkei, Lenovo might take over Fujitsu´s PC business. The report says that either Lenovo will take over Fujitsu´s PC business or they will form a joint-venture, in which Lenovo has the majority stake.
If Lenovo completely takes over Fujitsu, about 2,000 Fujitsu employee would move under Lenovo’s umbrella.
