While Pokemon Go has gone a year without adding any legendary creatures, the wait for Legendaries could be coming to an end. An analysis of the game’s latest update by The Silph Road indicates the creatures will be added shortly. Evidence of their existence was found in the game’s code.
Legendaries are reportedly going to show up through Raid Battles, a recently announced feature. Those battles let people work together to take down a Pokemon located at a specific gym.
The Silph Road thinks it’s likely the Legendaries will be able to attack gyms instead of defending them against weaker Pokemon controlled by players.
