In November last year, China’s TENAA certified a LeEco smartphone with the model number ‘X850’. According to a new rumor of China, the smartphone will finally be made official next month.
The Le X850 is expected to be announced on the 11th of April, which means consumers in China should be able to get their hands on the smartphone before the end of April. In terms of specs, the Le X850 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chipset under the hood and feature a large 5.7-inch display with 1440 x 2560 Quad HD resolution. In terms of memory, two variants are expected to be on offer. The base variant will feature 4GB of RAM while the more expensive version will include 6GB of RAM. As for storage, the higher end variant is expected to include 128GB of internal memory.
In the camera department, the smartphone will feature a 13MP dual-camera setup at the back while on the front will be a 16MP resolution selfie snapper. Keeping the lights on will be a large 4000mAh capacity battery, probably more than enough to get most users through one whole day of usage.
In China, the LeEco Le X850 is rumored to start at 1799 yuan ($260), which sounds quite good for a smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 821 SoC. Color options will include Black, White, Gold, and Gray.
