The Chinese manufacturing industry is currently lighting up with full-screen devices. All is now set for the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 which is a full-screen smartphone. However, while we are yet to conclude reports on the Mi MIX 2, a leaked image from another Chinese manufacturer (VIVO) have revealed that we should be expecting a full-screen Vivo X20 which is scheduled to be released in November.
Vivo has thrown speculators off balance in the nomenclature of its smartphones. The predecessor of the expected Vivo X20 is Vivo X9 and its X9s and X9s Plus variant. Thus it was easy to speculate that the successor to Vivo X9 should be called Vivo X10. However, this is not the case as Vivo is skipping the numerals 10 to 19 and will name its next smartphone Vivo X20.
A user on Chinese most popular social media, Weibo released images of a full-screen Vivo X20 poster. From the images, the smartphone is bezel-less with its forehead and chin looking quite narrow. This full-screen smartphone will come with a 5.7-inch Full HD capacitive screen coupled with an under-screen fingerprint sensor. With this feature, the Vivi X20 will attract much attention from the public.
As per a Geekbench listing, Vivo X11 (which now should be named Vivo X20) will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 1.84 GHz paired with 4GB RAM. This full-screen smartphone is rumored to be shipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Although, there’s no official confirmation from Vivo, we can make a safe guess that Vivo X20 would be released in November this year.
