Chinese smartphone maker LEAGOO is gaining ground, and gaining it fast even on new terrain. The company which had recently launched into markets in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand has made a grand entrance into yet another market. This time around LEAGOO debuts in Nepal and the ceremony to usher in the brand was held on November 25.
The ceremony saw well over 500 local distributors, more than 40 lournalists from the Nepalese media and many admirers of the LEAGOO brand coming together in a action-packed ceremony held in Bouhda.
The ceremony was hosted by a former beauty queen, Ms. Nagma Shrestha (MISS NEPAL 2012) and she did a good job in keeping the ceremony lively. There were other side attractions like hot models show, Brand Opening Ceremony, LEAGOO product shows, fabulous dancing shows and lucky draws.
The launch event was was held in partnership with JSS GROUP which is LEAGOO’s authorized agent for the region. As should be expected, three senior executives of JSS GROUP took turns to speak about their group ad the current smartphone market situation in Nepal.
Thereafter, LEAGOO’s CEO Mr. Johnson made a well prepared speech about the company’s strategy in Nepal and its importance in LEAGOO’s expansion process. The CEO expressed confidence that the brand would become one of the top 10 brands in Nepal market within one year and then climb up to the Top 5 within three years.
The LEAGOO CEO also hinted that the company would enter the market combining both online and offline sales channels. That means the smartphones would be sold online and also in traditional stores.
The ceremony saw the official launch of LEAGOO products like elegant Z series, ultra-cheap M series and strong battery-packing S series, and lastly the super slim metal uni-body sporting T series. In addition, the first Deca-core LEAGOO T10 was also launched and it became the centre of attraction.
