The Chinese smartphone maker with a collection of sleek smartphones made its debut on October 15 in the Premier League at the Etihad, before the game between heavy weights Manchester City and Everton.
Now, the Chinese innovative company is set to official launch its latest smartphone, the LEAGOO M5 Plus in the English Premier League on Matchday Live this weekend, precisely on October 29. The launch will take place at The HawThorns stadium on a day West Bromwich Albions plays host to Manchester City.
LEAGOO joins famous brands like Samsung, Etihad, and Chevrolet in sponsoring the prestigious English Premiership in its big to grab a slice of the overseas market outside China. The move into the English Premier League is indeed a strategic one considering the popularity of the league and its large follower-ship worldwide.
Indeed the Chinese brand brings in a lot of drive into this project, driving along with its mantra of “Growing Every Moment”. The LEAGOO M5 Plus which would be launched on Match Day Live is an upgrade of the M5 and was recently released with an amazing price tag of $80! For so little an amount, you get a device with a fingerprint sensor that performs other functions like taking selfies, and so on, along side its generic function of unlocking the device.
The Leagoo M5 Plus integrates a large Super IPS 5.5-inch screen with an HD display (1280×720 pixels). Even though it’s not Full-HD but with the contrast ratio 900:1, the details and the colors are sharp on the screen. The device is powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737 clocked at 1.3GHz. The processor is accompanied by 2GB of RAM and ARM Mali-T720 MP2 GPU clocked at 550MHz. There is also 16GB of internal storage on the device which can be expanded via a microSD slot. Users also get a 13-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies. There is a 2500mAh battery on the device and providing the interface is a Android Marshmallow-based FreeMe OS 6.0. There are lots of other attractive features on the M5 Plus which is 4G enabled by the way.
Further, LEAGOO is also promoting one of its latest high-end, sleek and innovatve device, the LEAGOO Venture 1.
