Changing phones on WhatsApp can be quite a hassle, as your profile is tied to your phone number.
Now a new hidden feature in the WhatsApp beta for Windows Phone suggests WhatsApp will be addressing this issue, by letting you notify your contacts en masse that your number has changed.
The feature, which is not enabled yet, will let you notify all your contacts, just the ones you conversed with, and automatically the groups you participated in.
Besides being a convenient feature, the change will hopefully help put an end to the cringeworthy New Phone Who Dis meme, which is, of course, a major plus all by itself.
