The latest public version of Google Chrome includes a built-in cast feature that lets you send your browser’s content to a Chromecast-connected device over a local wireless network. You can access the feature after updating and restarting Chrome. Google added this ability to the Chrome beta two months ago.
With the Cast function, users don’t need an extra extension. When you’re on a site that supports casting, you’ll see an icon appear. Developers can add that functionality to their services using this guide.
Cast includes controls for adjusting the volume and for picking the device you want to stream to.
