LED automotive lighting maker Laster Tech has disclosed it has obtained new orders for numerous taillight and headlight modules, with orders for the latter rising 100% in comparison with 2018.
Laster mentioned it started the certification course of for these new orders in second-quarter 2018.
Laster mentioned it focuses on the China market, with China-based joint-venture automakers taking on 70% of its 2018 consolidated revenues. Automotive taillight, daytime operating lamp and headlight modules accounted for 59%, 28% and seven% respectively of the consolidated revenues, it mentioned.
In 2019, the China market worth for LED automotive lighting and backlighting functions is estimated to exceed US$1 billion, rising over 20% on 12 months, and headlight modules alone will enhance 35%. Laster expects headlight modules to be a significant development driver over the following few years.

Laster posted consolidated revenues of NT$4.405 billion (US$143 million), gross margin of 17.93%, internet working revenue of NT$234.eight million, internet revenue of NT$205.9 million and internet EPS of NT$3.02 for 2018, and has determined to distribute a money dividend per share of NT$1.66.
