Huawei has recently launched its flagship Kirin 960, but for 2017, to keep up with its competitors, the company plans to launch its next-gen Kirin 970 processor. Over the last few weeks, we have learned a few things about it, such as it will be built using the 10nm manufacturing process and will have an octa-core architecture paired with Mali-G71 GPU.
Now, new details have emerged online suggesting that the processor will have all eight cores clocked at up to 3.0 GHz. The new Kirin 970 is expected to make official debut with Mate 10, which should be in the first half of 2017.
