Apple is widely believed to be making some big changes to the iPhone with the iPhone 8 and according to Fast Company, those changes come with a price. The handset will come in over $1,000, surpassing the top iPhone 7’s $969.
Part of the price increase comes from the device’s display. It’ll use a new OLED display that costs around twice as much as the current LCD component.
The phone is also believed to offer a memory upgrade and Fast Company claims it’ll have a smooth design with few or no physical buttons.
According to the report, there will be a few iPhone models this year. The 4.7-inch iPhone 7s, the 5.5-inch iPhone 7s Plus, and the 5.8-inch iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 is the most expensive and upgraded with its design and components.
