Apple’s iPhone reveal and release schedule is set to be largely the same in 2017 as it has been in recent years, claims Economic Daily News. Both the iPhone 7s and 8 will be unveiled in September and they’ll go on sale in October. Their mass production is reportedly “on schedule.”
Mass production of their internal components will start in June. TSMC may start producing A11 SoC wafers by June 10.
There were concerns about this year’s manufacturing due to the new substrate-like circuit boards used by all models. However, yields for the components have improved.
Other reports claim we’ll see the iPhone 7s on the market by September/October, but that the iPhone 8 will be unavailable or hard to get until 2018.
