The Nintendo Switch debuted without any video streaming services. Now that’s starting to change. As of today, Hulu has become available for North American users through the eShop. It’s one of a number of additions to the game/app store. Given it’s a good device for mobile media consumption, not having any streaming options available has been a limitation.
Nintendo mentioned when the console was launching that support from services like Netflix and Hulu could be added, but it initially wanted to focus on games.
It’s unknown when other services will reach the store, but with Hulu now available, others may quickly follow.
