Huawei has a few interesting upcoming products for the end of 2016 and one of them is the promising Mate 9 phablet that will definitely be the main choice for phablet fans, along with Xiaomi’s Mi Note 2. After the company releases the Mate 9, they will switch its focus to something else.
Thanks to the success of the first-generation MateBook 2-in-1 device, Huawei plans to unveil the second model and according to a report from DigiTimes, this could take place in the first quarter of 2017. The new MateBook will come in two different configurations, with 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch displays, and both will be powered by Intel Core i-series processors.
Huawei hopes to challenge Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Book 2 with the new lineups. If it can’t match the performance, they will definitely offer good value for the money.
