At MWC 2017, Huawei announced its latest P-series flagship smartphones, the P10 and P10 Plus. However, the company has yet another P-series smartphone in store for us, the P10 Lite. While the smartphone hasn’t been officially announced, it has been listed online by a Dutch online retailer.
The P10 Lite is listed to feature a 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution and is going to be powered by Huawei’s in-house developed Kirin 655 chipset under the hood. In terms of memory, the smartphone will include 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. At the rear will be a 12MP single-lens camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens and an LED flash. For selfies, the handset is going to be equipped with an 8MP sensor on the front, similar to its more expensive siblings. The smartphone will also include a 3000mAh capacity non-removable battery, although it isn’t clear if fast charging will be supported or not. The fingerprint scanner, unlike the P10 and P10 Plus, is going to be positioned at the rear.
In terms of software, the P10 Lite will run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, with the company’s EMUI 5.1 custom skin on top. The smartphone has been listed for pre-order at 349 EUR, which is not too bad considering the specs.
Since the P10 Lite is expected to begin shipping next month, we expect it to be silently announced very soon.
