Many companies are following the trend that started with Xiaomi’s Mi Mix handset, and pretty much every new flagship smartphone comes with a display that has very thin bezels. The world’s third largest smartphone maker Huawei has now confirmed that the upcoming flagship phablet will be called Mate 10 and will come with similar display.
In an interview by Richard Yu, the chief of Huawei’s consumer division said it would come with a “full-screen display”, which means we should expect near bezel-less smartphone. He also said that Huawei will no longer make low-end smartphones, because “the margin is extremely low, and it’s not making enough profit”.
