It took about 7 years from Xiaomi to come in with the most powerful smartphone of the company. The Mi 6 is also known as the best cost-effective handset in Chinese market (at least). Today another model with this goal in mind has been leaked in photos. Of course, we are talking about the Huawei Honor 9, which is going to be the worthy successor of the current model, the Huawei Honor 8. The latter has succeeded a lot thanks to a great performance, stylish look and an affordable price tag. So the Huawei Honor 9 should continue this tradition as well.
The phone is said to use a double-glass design. Thus the back and the front of it will be made of glass, while the frame should be made of metal. Other than that, there should be a fingerprint scanner under the non-porous home button. Thus many features resemble the Xiaomi Mi 6.
As for key features of the Huawei Honor 9, it should sport a 5.2-inch Full HD screen, Kirin 960 processor, 6GB of RAM, a dual-camera with 12+2MP sensors paired with a dual-LED flash and many more. The battery capacity is supposed to be at 3200mAh. It will also support 9V2A fast charge like the Huawei Honor V9.
Finally, Zhao Ming, a president of Huawei Honor brand made clear via social network that 3.5mm audio jack won’t be cancelled on this model.
Previously, the Huawei Honor 9 has pass 3C certification with a codename of ‘Stanford’. As for now, there are three models of STF-AL10, STF-AL00, and STF-TL10 accessed the network license. So we are almost sure these are three different variants of the Huawei Honor 9.
The Huawei Hono 9’s price tags are supposed to be 2299 yuan ($333) for 4+64GB model, 2599 yuan ($377) for 6+64GB variant, and 2999 yuan ($435) for 6+128GB version.
