Huawei today finally made the P10 lite mid-range smartphone official.

The P10 lite sports a 5.2-inch IPS display with 1080p Full HD resolution and 2.5D curved glass on top. It runs on the Kirin 658 chipset under the hood, clocked at 2.1 GHz, with the Mali T830MP2 GPU. Huawei’s in-house developed SoC has been paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded with a microSD card.

The rear camera on the P10 lite is a single 12MP unit with 1.25 micron pixel size and an LED flash. On the front is an 8MP snapper for taking selfies and video calls. In the connectivity department, the smartphone comes with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 Low Energy, GPS, NFC, and 4G LTE. The battery inside the handset is a 3000mAh unit, which is pretty decent in terms of size, at least for a mid-range Android smartphone. It does support fast charging, so it won’t take very long for the battery to get fully charged.

The Huawei P10 lite runs on Android Nougat OS out of the box, with Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 custom skin on top. It will be available in two colors at launch – Midnight Black and Platinum Gold. Huawei has announced that the P10 lite preorders are now open in the UK, where the smartphone has been priced at 299 GBP. It will be going on sale around the world on the 31st of this month, alongside the flagship P10.
