Virtual reality is growing very fast and HTC wants to fully take advantage of it. Until now, HTC Vive owners had to use Valve’s Steam platform for VR content. Starting today, HTC has launched its own store called Viveport, which is now launching in 30 countries.
The store is now home of non-gaming VR content, including about 60 titles related to education, design, art, social, video, music, sports, health, fashion, travel, news, shopping, creativity tools and various other things. To celebrate the new app store, HTC is offering $1 pricing for several VR content titles in the next 48 hours.
