HTC announced two new smartphones in the Desire 10 series, the HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle. New information shows that HTC doesn’t intend to launch the two smartphones in the US and Canada.
MobileSyrup reported HTC won’t be releasing the HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle in the US and Canada. It seems that HTC is currently focusing on offering the two smartphones on global markets outside the US and Canada. Still, there’s a slight chance that the smartphones will be released in these two countries later on, since these are two of the biggest markets in the world.
HTC Desire 10 Pro is more powerful than the Desire 10 Lifestyle. The Desire 10 Pro comes with a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset and a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution. It will be made available in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and the other with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and a 20MP rear camera
The smartphone has a 20MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus and dual-tone flash. When it comes to front camera capacity, the Desire 10 Pro packs an impressive 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone runs a very capable 3,000mAh battery.
The device also has a fingerprint scanner and will be made available in four colors, Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux. In addition, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle comes with a 5.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and 267ppi pixel density. It runs a quad-core 1.4Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Rear camera capacity reaches 13MP with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and autofocus. Battery capacity is 2,700mAh and the smartphone also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
HTC is also working on two upcoming Google smartphones, called Pixel and Pixel XL, and set to be announced on October 4.
