At CES 2017, HP unveiled the world’s thinnest 13.3-inch business convertible called EliteBook x360 that is only 14.9mm thick, but also has passed 12 MIL-STD 810G tests. With this high-end Windows 10 convertible, HP has Microsoft’s Surface Book set in its sights.
Thanks to a new fast-charging tech, the device will go from empty to 50% in just 30 minutes. Since it is a business notebook, it supports the latest HP security features including Sure Start Gen3, Intel Authenticate, HP Sure View privacy screen, and biometric readers such as IR and fingerprint sensors. It will go on sale later this month, priced at around $1500.
