HP Pavilion dm1z notebook video review

Brief video review of the HP Pavilion dm1z notebook. You can find more details at liliputing.com

I spend about 10 minutes looking at the new 2011 MacBook Pro (15″ Core i7), with side by side comparison of the 2010 MacBook Pro (15″ Core i5). I talk about Thunderbolt, iSight HD, and there may even be some haphazard speed testing! Please feel free to leave comments or questions and I will try to respond. Also be sure to rate. Thanks for watching! Boring unboxing pics on my flickr here: www.flickr.com

  1. Having owned this laptop for about 2 months now, I can say that this is definitely the netbook you all have been waiting for!
Small, compact, light, but still with a decent-sized display with nice resolution, a great keyboard, an (in my opinion) really good touchpad once you’ve gotten used to it and, most important of all, outstanding performance.
Matlab, Mathematica, LateX, 1080p-videos, LoL and even CoD4 will run fine on this machine at an avg battery time of 5-6 hrs.
    Great machine!

  2. @Nill7777 It may be that the RPM of your Hard Drive is Different. Apple’s New Macbooks come with a choice of 750GB 5400 RPM, 500GB 7200 RPM, And various new Solid State Drives. Although your processor is smaller, the RPM of a hard drive can play a difference. Also was your’s running on battery or power? That is snpthef factor you may have to take into consideration.

  3. Hi, how many gigabytes have occupied your macbooks?
I have tested for initiation of software (Photoshop and Dreamweaver CS5) following your video with my macbook pro 15 “intel core i5, and the program opens me long before the 15 ” intel core i7 of your video.
    Something strange is happening.
