We hear little from them these days, but they are still around, HIS Digital is announcing their Radeon RX 480 IceQX2 Roaring edition graphics cards. HIS is still holding on to the IceQ concept and will release the new roaring model card in two SKUs, an OC and Turbo model.
This all customized release feels slightly late to the market alright, but the product certainly is looking good. The Radeon RX 480 IceQX2 Roaring models will get the traditional looking cooler, this round with two fans which up-to 60 degrees C will not spin. The cooler feels a bit Asia region styled in all dark with a golden lion, which we assume hints to that ‘Roaring’ edition.

The PCB is all black and the card will get a backplate as well. On top you’ll see a LED lit HIS logo. Based on a 6-power phase design the card dies get an 8-pin power connector. The OC edition will be clocked at 1288 MHz, the Turbo edition at 1338 MHz, which for the RX 480 quite frankly is pretty high.
