Earlier this week, HERE WeGo for the Gear S3 was graced with a much-anticipated update on the Galaxy Apps Store. The upgrade brings users the ability to view public transit information on their wrist, so they no longer have to pull out their smartphone to see when the next bus is arriving. In addition, it also bundles a new companion mode, which enables commuters to push directions created on their watch to their handset.
To install the latest version of Here WeGo on your Gear S3, open up the Samsung Gear/Gear S application on your smartphone, tap Settings, scroll to and select Galaxy Apps, search for Here WeGo, then hit the big Update button. For the quickest download time and to avoid incurring any nasty charges because you’ve exceeded your mobile data limit, you’ll probably want to be connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network while the installation takes place.
