After months of rumours, MediaTek has finally launched the flagship Helio X30, which powers the Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphones. The chipset was expected to compete with other high-end chipsets, but according to first results, that won’t be the case.
Meizu Pro 7 with 4 GB of RAM and Helio X30 was benchmarked on AnTuTu and has positioned just behind the Snapdragon 821-powered Mi Note 2, Mi Mix, and the Kirin 960-powered Huawei Mate 9, with a score of 141982 points. Since Helio X30 is MediaTek’s first flagship chipset, hopefully future chipsets will be even better.
