It has been awhile since GoPro last unveiled a new product. The company is trying to turn around and get back to its famous days and to do that, it has to release almost perfect new product. What we know is that GoPro is working on two new devices – a drone and an action camera.
Both products are expected to be released by the end of 2016, hopefully, and now we have more details on the upcoming Hero 5. The action camera has leaked in new images, revealing a few more details about it.
If you expected to feature huge design changes compared to the Hero 4, then you will be disappointed. It is very similar to the last generation, and is actually a little bit bigger. There is no front power/menu button since there is a touchscreen and it will be waterproof out of the box.
The highest-quality video mode available would be 4K at 30 frames per second, along with 720p at 120 frames per second, along with image stabilization. Two new features, voice control and GPS, are included, and a battery is bigger, at 1,220 mAh. The last change is the addition of USB Type-C port.
