Google's Next-Gen Pixel Handset Appears On Geekben…

250

From previous reports, we know that for 2017, Google is preparing not two, but three new smartphones. The successors to Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones are codenamed Muskie, Walleye and Taimen, and the latter has now leaked on Geekbench, revealing some of its key specifications.

We knew very little about this 3rd Pixel handset, but according to the Geekbench listing, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 1.9 GHz and 4 GB of RAM, while running Android O. This is all we know about it so far, and the software seems far from final, as the results aren’t nearly as impressive as the leaked Geekbench results for the OnePlus 5.
