In addition to having physical books available, local libraries in the US often have ebook collections. To help people find titles within those collections, Google is adding a feature to Search that’ll tell you if one of your local libraries has the ebook you’re searching for.
Mobile and desktop users in the United States now have access to the feature. If you search for a title, Google will pull up a “libraries near you” section.
This ability makes it much easier to search for locally available ebooks since many library websites aren’t particularly good for browsing.
