Google is making it easier for business owners to edit their listings on the search engine. Directly within Search, a new dashboard will let owners edit and add information about their company. Among the things they can edit are their opening hours, contact info, and photos.
These editing tools become available after a user has claimed their business through Google My Business, a free service.
When your business listing comes up in Search, Google will display multiple options, such as “edit info,” “create post,” and “add photo.” These options only appear when you’re logged in with the account linked to your business.
