All of your videos in Google Photos can now be stabilized by the app. The mobile app can automatically stabilize the videos in your camera roll with a tap. The feature may be useful even in cases where a clip was recorded on a phone with hardware-based image stabilization.
When you use the option, Google Photos holds on to a copy of the original video. The stabilized one is cropped a little.
Depending on how shaky your original video is, the improved one could still be negatively affected by warping and other visual distortions.
