More than 150 apps have been built for Daydream, Google’s virtual reality platform. That milestone was announced during I/O 2017, a year after Daydream was introduced by the company. Daydream was announced during I/O 2016 and the first headset for the platform, the View, arrived in November.
Developers have been able to submit apps to Google Play since January, so the growth to 150 apps has taken place in relatively little time.
There are 7-10x more apps on the Gear VR store, yet that platform has also been around longer.
