The latest Google app has been released and thanks to Android Police‘s teardown, we have learned that a new Google Home device might be in the works. Codenamed Quartz, the device is expected to feature a built-in display.
Code in the Google app confirm YouTube playback functionality with a layout that can display who Uploaded the video, Comments, Likes, Views and more. There are also some references to a web browser, Google Maps, a photo viewer, weather, timers, and the ability to show recipes. Not much is known about the device, so stay tuned for more information.
