Gigabyte has outted a Mini-ITX GA-J3455N-D3H that has been fitted with a Apollo Lake SoC, the Celeron J 3455 has 4 cores rating 1.50 GHz wth a boost to 2.30 GHz (cache 2 MB). The cooling system is a passive as that processor is not getting warm
The on-board components are based on “Ultra Durable” components and adopt high-quality solid capacitor, Low RDS (On) MOSFET and apparantly what seems to be a new glass fabric PCB. This 17cm sized board also comes with a surge and ESD protection. The main specifications are DDR 3 L-SODIMM × 2 (16 GB maximum) for the memory slots, storage is SATA 3.0 (6 Gbps) × 4 (SoC × 2 / ASMedia ASM 1061 × 2), and one expansion slot is PCI × 16. The display output has D-Sub × 1, HDMI × 1. The back panel interface as PS/2, USB 3.1 Gen.1 × 2, USB 2.0 × 2, Gigabit LAN × 2 (Realtek chip), audio jack × 3.
