GIGABYTE has announced its new flagship GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, the GTX 1060 Xtreme Gaming 6G.
The graphics card comes with WINDFORCE 2x 3-slot cooling solution with dual 100mm unique blade fans, alternate spinning fan design, pure copper composite heat-pipes, and a large copper plate with direct touch technology. The fans shut off completely when the card is idling or under low loads for low power gaming. Thanks to the highly competent cooling solution, the card comes factory overclocked with a high 1645 MHz base clock and 1873 MHz boost clock in OC mode. The 6GB of GDDR5 memory is clocked at 8316 MHz in OC mode.
The GIGABYTE GTX 1060 Xtreme Gaming comes with RGB Spectrum LED illumination offering a choice of 16.8 million colors and numerous lighting effects that can be customized through the Xtreme Engine software. It also features a stylish metal back plate, aerospace-grade PCB coating, LED power indicators, 6 + 1 power phases for extreme overclocking, Titan X-grade chokes and capacitors. The card draws power using a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Display outputs include three DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.0b and a dual-link DVI-D.
