GET, SAS see September revenues down on year
MOPS, October 7; Adam Hwang, DIGITIMES [Friday 7 October 2016]

Solar-grade crystalline silicon wafer maker Green Energy Technology on October 6 reported consolidated revenues of NT$715 million (US$22.8 million) for September, rising 10.83% on month but falling 45.71% on year, NT$2.568 billion for the third quarter, slipping 46.28% on quarter and 32.37% on year, and NT$12.619 billion for January-September, growing 12.37% on year.

Meanwhile, fellow solar-grade wafer maker Sino-American Silicon Products (SAS) reported consolidated revenues of NT$2.266 billion (US$72.2 million) for September, declining 0.72% on month and 8.41% on year, NT$7.183 billion for the third quarter, slipping 4.85% on quarter and 2.29% on year, and NT$21.824 billion for January-September, growing 2.60% on year.

In other news, PV conductive paste maker Giga Solar Materials reported consolidated revenues of NT$827 million (US$26.3 million) for September, decreasing 13.36% on month and 47.94% on year, NT$3.117 billion for the third quarter, slipping 28.14% on quarter and 31.06% on year, and NT$12.009 billion for January-September, rising 10.44% on year.
