After the launch of Google Stadia two days in the past, players are reporting that Google Stadia overheating and killing their Chromecast Ultras.
With the service’s Founders Edition and Premiere Edition packages coming bundled with Chromecast Ultra units, many try to benefit from the service on their TV units. Unfortunately, Stadia’s intensive streaming is inflicting points.
“I was in the middle of a fight in Destiny 2 when suddenly my Chromecast died and lost connectivity to the network,” one consumer posted on the Stadia subreddit. “I went to unplug it from the power and it was extremely hot.”
The redditor acknowledged that they’d solely been taking part in “about 3-4 hours into my session at that point” earlier than the dying of their system.
