Galaxy A7 (2017) receives Bluetooth certification

230

It was only three months ago that we exclusively reported that Samsung was working on refreshed models of the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 for its 2017 lineup, and now the latter has been granted its Bluetooth certification credentials, which means the only remaining pitstop it has to make before it can hit the shelves is the FCC.

Recent AnTuTu and GFXBench listings point towards the Galaxy A7 (2017) packing a 5.7-inch Full HD display, a 1.8GHz Exynos 7880 System-on-Chip (SoC), 3GB of LP-DDR4 RAM, 32GB of expandable internal storage, a 16-megapixel front- and rear-facing camera and a 3,300mAh battery. It’s also expected to sport a fingerprint scanner, LTE connectivity and a USB Type-C port.

It’s worth noting, however, that none of this information has been confirmed at this precise moment in time, so it should all be taken with a pinch of salt. Fortunately, at the rate Samsung’s 2017 iterations of the Galaxy A range are passing through testing facilities, it shouldn’t be too much longer until they’re announced. We’re hoping for a mid-December unveiling.
