Gainward & Palit Increase Warranty, now three years

275

The warranty period for Palit and Gainward (both have the same underlying company) GeForce graphics cards has been extended, the warranty for both brands was 24 months, now it is 36 months or three years.

The three-year warranty applies to all Gainward and Palit GeForce GPU models, whether it’s a GeForce GT 1030 or a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti reports computerbase. The only condition is that the video card was purchased after 1 January 2018 or that a sticker with a three-year warranty on the packaging was already affixed before that time. The warranty remains to be carry-in, aka you return it towards the seller and not at Palit or Gainward itself.

In the past Gainward already offered a three-year warranty, which got changed to two years at one point.
